Case study: Milly Fox-Jones (that’s me!)
So, you’ve seen a bit of my work, but you don’t know an awful lot about me…
From stories to school reports, I always loved writing.
For as long as I can remember I’ve just loved words, so I feel genuinely privileged to get to write as a job.
While my day jobs see me writing everything from microcopy to case studies, my personal life is currently working on a novel – I won’t tell you what it’s about, but I will tell you that it involves a fox.
Which brings me on to my beloved namesake – I adore these clever little creatures. This is why, when I decided to dive into the world of crypto after working in finance, I just had to have a Cunning Fox as my first NFT. That’s that guy over there.
I’m passionate about education
Which is a nice way of saying I’m a big nerd. Always have been. I just love learning things, all sorts of random things. Like facts about pumpkins.
It’s also why I’ve sought out work that let’s me teach others
One of the pieces I’m most proud of was this three part piece on why women don’t tend to invest for Startups Magazine. It was a ghost-written piece for an ex-colleague and I had people getting in touch saying how much it helped them take the step into investing. It was after this that I started freelancing for Ocean Finance where I got to share knowledge through the guides.
